ODESSA, FL – October 17, 2019 – The Keystone Civic Association, a non-profit organization that works with county leaders and residents to preserve one of the few rural-style communities left within Hillsborough County, announces an unprecedented release of community funds to address unmet needs within the community.  The six mini grant recipients for local projects are Walker Middle School Agriculture Club, Walker Middle School’s Science Program, Hammond Elementary PTA, Lake Park’s Friends of the Park, American Legion Post 147 and the Odessa Wranglers 4H Club.  Keystone strives for sustainability through a balance of historical and emerging lifestyles, agricultural base, and natural resources.

To serve as the face and voice of our community to elected officials and associated agencies and to foster unity through community vision.

“For several years KCA has been raising money from our Chili Cook Off and Business Expo and it is now time to put that money back into the community,” said Joshua Butts, President of Keystone Civic. “Awarding these grants is a culmination of a lot of work and community spirit and we are excited to present these awards,” Butts continued.
